The Artist From the time I could talk I was singing. From the time I could hold a pencil I was drawing. From the time I got my first little piano I was making up songs. I have always had the gift of creativity, but only after I got pregnant with my daughter did I discover the creative, artistic side to photography. I wanted to capture the real her as she grew up, not just snapshots of what she looked like at each stage in her life, but what she LIVED like. So I found myself on a journey that I had never planned on. I was learning how to apply my artistic gifting to create images that portrayed the real life of my daughter that I knew I would look back on in years to come and not only enjoy them as artwork in their composition and color and angles, but also remember what she was really like - laughter, tears, spunk, fears, quirks, attitude and all. I am a self taught photographic artist, always increasing my knowledge and skills as any good artist does. I use the principles of design in my photographic art to make eye-pleasing compositions within the images I create. I currently live in Port Huron, Michigan with my husband, Shawn, and my precious daughters, Zoë Victoria and Haven Grace. I am enjoying every minute of marriage and motherhood along with attending church weekly and spending time with friends.
